Sustainable Waste Management Solutions

For the safety of our team, customers, and the environment, the following items cannot be accepted at any of our facilities

General Non-Recyclables

• Asphalt, concrete, dirt, debris, rags, trash, or tires, aluminum cans, cardboard, green waste, e-waste, and all below.

Liquids

• Any free-flowing liquids
• Hazardous liquids such as gasoline, motor oil, oil filters, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, antifreeze, ammonia, mercury, or oil-based paints
• Non-hazardous liquids such as water

Hazardous & Dangerous Materials

• Flammable or combustible items (including diesel fuel and gasoline)
• Corrosive substances (e.g., lead-acid batteries)
• Radioactive materials (such as medical or military scrap, or measuring devices)
• Explosives or explosive scrap (including ammunition and shells)
• Poisons, biohazards, infectious waste, chemicals in any form (liquid, solid, gas, powder), fertilizers, or medical sharps/needles

Pressurized Containers

• Cylinders, tanks, or containers that are sealed, pressurized, or formerly held hazardous substances (e.g., propane tanks, compressed gas tanks, aerosol cans, fire extinguishers, bulk storage tanks)

Materials with Hazardous Residue

• Asbestos-containing products (pipe insulation, surfacing materials)
• Aerosol cans with paint, sealers, pesticides, or toxic chemicals
• Non-aerosol containers with hazardous contents
• Refrigeration and AC units with CFCs, HCFCs, or non-exempt refrigerants
• PCB-containing items (capacitors, ballasts, transformers)
• Lead-based materials
• Mercury-containing products (switches, fluorescent/mercury vapor bulbs, thermostats)
• Oil filters with residual oil
• Fine metal powders smaller than 100 microns

Other Prohibited Items

• Any materials containing toxic or hazardous waste
• Automobiles unless drained of fluids and stripped of batteries, leaded cables, mercury switches, and airbags (per legal requirements)
• Electronics of all kinds, including computers, monitors, TVs, stereos, radios, and other e-waste
